Season 3?
Has anyone heard if there are any plans for a season 3?

"I have more stories planned out. It's not like 'Lost,' I know exactly where it's going to go, so I'd like to have more opportunities to tell them," Cross says. "I could do it in two more [six-part series], but I'd really like to have four."

That was taken sometime after the first season, granted since then he's changed his mind, but jsyk it wasn't planned as 12 from the start like a lot of people have been saying.
I just hope it won't take as long as Season One to Season Two, but keep all the quality in! :)
Quality, um...
Have you seen the final episode of season 2 yet? Doesn't leave much room to continue!
I don't think the poster was indicating that it would go on any further, but rather was just pointing out that it wasn't planned to be only 12 from the get-go as has been stated.
sharelol no he was asking if it would go on.
they could easisly make a season 3, but it wouldnt be a continuing story, just Todd in a new crazy *beep* storm of his stupidity, i think they could so some awesome stuff with the North Korea thing
How wasn't it? The very first episode showed what was going to happen in the last episode.
shareI dont remember, where did it show?
You know what the Queen said? If I had balls, I'd be King.
hes talking about the begining of every episode where it shows him being sentenced in court. doesnt mean they cant continue it
shareYeah... They have shown a small sample of what's coming next, but a lot of explanation needed still.
shareI saw David Cross on Attack of the Show and he did confirm that this is the end. They wanted it to follow the structure of many British shows. Namely just a few episodes.
shareSo what did they destroy?
shareIt's not worth it to know! It's so off the wall and unpredictable that you'll hate anyone who tells you what happens in the final episode(s).
I can figure out where most shows are going by the second season, not even close on this one.
If someone does offer up a spoiler, don't read it unless you're 100% sure you're never going to see the second season.
"if it was any good they'd have made an American version by now." Hank Hill
I have no idea how they could possibly continue from season 2... but then, I felt the same way after the end of season 1, too, so who knows.

What channel was season 2 on. I completely missed it.
shareThe only thing I could imagine would be a "prequel-type" season or two in which we see him secretly manipulated by his British antagonist, leading up to him taking the job in England...
David...you listening??
YES! There WILL be a season 3!

Both this and twin peaks return in the same week... oh my fuggin gawd BEST WEEK EVER!
Just read in the new Vanity Fair that David Cross was leaving for London to shoot Season 3 not long after that Interview took place so he's probably there doing that now.

Oh heck yes, pass me a can of that delicious Thunder Muscle!
I just seen an ad on IFC that January 7th is the beginning of the 3rd season of Todd Margret! Only six episodes but that's better than nothing! David Cross sounded pretty adamant that two seasons was it, but I am sure glad that he changed his mind!
Does anyone know what the story behind the story is? I saw Alice in one of the photos (well, Sharon Horgan anyway) and we all know how it went for her.
So is this the same guy? The same people? Or will this be a different Todd Margaret? Might it be a prequel as someone else suggested? What's the story???
All we know is that it will be "trippy and convoluted" and not make any sense if you havent seen the first 2 seasons
SOUNDS PERFECT
I want to see it.
shareI'm half way through season 3 and it's just not very funny. Quite boring. I couldn't stop watching episodes of seasons 1 and 2, but I'm having a hard time wanting to watch episodes of season 3, otherwise I'd have finished it already. Basically, seasons 1 and 2 were a dream, and in season 3 Todd is trying to interpret his dream which is seeming to come true, albeit in a different, less hilarious way. Todd's personality is still douchey, but it's more believable corporate douche. It's interesting but not funny. I haven't watched seasons 1 and 2 in years, so I'm not getting all the references. Requires rewatching 1 and 2 to fully appreciate. Pretty disappointing direction.
shareI'm a fan of David Cross and Will Arnett and only by chance I became aware that there was a third season of Todd Margaret. Safe to say, I wish I hadn't known because it's a pile of feces.
I'd have assumed that Season 3 would have been about after what happened on Season 2's ending but I was dead wrong. Season 3 is watchable but at the same time somewhat terrible and an insult to the first two seasons.
Hope they don't make a fourth season although at the same time I do, just to wrap up the show once and for all.
