I get what's going on, and get all the references, but I haven't laughed once. I loved the first two seasons and was excited for the 3rd season to come, but I think if I ever rewatch this show in years to come, and I will, I'll just pretend season 3 never existed.
shareI also agree with the OP. The only way I can see S3 'paying off' as such is if the follow it up with another season. It's actually partly ruined what was a brilliant and fitting ending to the series with something that erases the whole thing.
The biggest dissapointment of S3 for me however was that is just wasn't funny at all.

Season 3 is *beep* the only way it's funny is how bad it is. ..this whole season should have been 1 episode and then back to the comdedy...so lazy trying to deja old jokes for a whole season...

I agree with you OP. What the *beep* happened? Season 1 and 2 had me dying of laughter from start to finish. Season 3 was just a drag.
I think completely erasing season 1 and 2's Poor Decisions was a bad choice. Before 3, each episode built off Todd's idiocy, getting more absurd and out of control.
I have to agree with you too. Seasons one and two were brilliant, one of the funniest shows I've seen. I was really looking forward to season 3 and I just finished the last episode.. man, what a let down.. I don't think I laughed once during the six episodes. There were amusing parts and it was sort of interesting to see where it goes but I don't think I'm gonna watch the 3rd season again. Well, we still have 2 great and funny seasons to go back to.

Seasons 1 and 2 were magnificently great but then out of nowhere came Season 3 which I can't puzzle as to how or why it was produced. Like, after Season 2's final episode you can't return from that.

Can't really say season 3 comes even close to season 1 and 2 in the humor department, but it did have it's moments. Very few and far between, but it did have it's moments.
To be honest, I don't know what to make of season three, whenever someone asks me about it, I just tell them to watch it themselves and see what they think.
Maybe they threw a lot of money at it to get season 3 or whatever, but they should have just make it two seasons and have been done with it.
IF there is a season 4, maybe it'll be a vindication for season 3, who knows. A bit disappointed in it for sure, but still not sorry I wadded through season 3.

S3 sucks... Now if Season 4 turns out that season 3 was the dream and the first 2 were reality...now that would be funny.

shareThat's the kind of stuff that's funny on paper or in theory, but then you realize you have to sit through an entire awful season to get to it. I knew that's where it was going during the first few episodes of S3, but I couldn't even make it there. Thanks for saving me the trouble. I'll try again when S4 rolls around, hopefully it goes back to its roots because S3 was unwatchable...
