Amazon, Yankee Candle, Burger King, Baskin Robbins, U-Haul

"Cancel my Amazon subscription."

This was actually a line in the movie. When recounting a sad death Baskin Robbins is casually mentioned. I know almost every movie has some glarlingly bad product placement. These were really awful, in your face, and most of all DISTRACTING.

Apart from all of the product placement what else was wrong with this movie? It appeared like there were some attempts at humor, but delivered so poorly and offbeat. I wanted to leave. I thought I would give this movie a shot because the one with Eddie Murphy was decent. 2023 Haunted Mansion was just awful. What was with the little boy? I was convinced that 1/4 of the time he was a puppet. He just looked so odd and his costuming was uniquely awful as well.

LaKeith was the problem for me. He just SUCKED at being a lead. I mean, you have Rosario Dawson right there. She would've been 1000x better choice.

That scene with her running at the start was excellent, very uplifting.

lol, I saw that too. Her character had a lot of bounce.
