I have been reading about this now for about two years and have been PRAYING that it was going to happen!

I really like Seth Rogen and I think the two of them will be PERFECT together!!

I was so excited when Barbra returned to comic fun with Meet The Fockers, and that she did the sequel as well and now I'm glad she's doing this as well. She's a gr8 dramatic acctress but come on kids - it's she gr8 as well in comedy!?

Hopefully the script is up to par and it will be fantastic. I'm soooooooo glad that she's doing this before the rumoured GYPSY remake. Though I think it will be interesting to see her as Mama Rose, it will be even better to see her in something new!

What do you think kids?

I agree, its great news. Barbra is a very good actress, and can do all sorts of movies - musicals, drama ect, but its great to see her doing another comedy, she's done some very funny films. When do they start shooting?

Dude, I thought Streisand was dead. This is news to me. She really puts this movie on the fence for me. I do think it could be really funny, but at the same time, I'm hesitant to watch a movie with her as a main character. Apparently she'll be playing Seth Rogan's mother, which is hilarious in and of itself, though. Guess I'll be waiting for the trailer.

Funny , that you thought that Barbra was dead being that she was recently given the presidential Medal Of Honor and also released a number 1 album which makes her the only artist to have a number 1 album in the 60's-70's 80's-90's and 2000's , not to mention the fact that she very recently had a bestselling book! But let me guess. You were busy watching Family Guy and counting the day that the next ' JACKASS' would be released?

Actually, I despise Family Guy and dislike Jackass. Way to be an elitist though. Guess what? Not everyone likes the things you do, but that doesn't make them stupid.

Anybody that starts out a post by saying that they thought someone who has been acheiving all that I had mentioned in my previous post was "Dead" does NOT come across as intelligent to me! By the way , if you don't think that Miss Streisand can be funny, I suggest you watch " Whats Up Doc" , "The Owl And The Pussycat" or even "Hello Dolly" for that matter!!

That's the best reply you could come up with? Well anyhow , as I was saying ..Barbra Streisand is going to be in a new movie with Seth Rogen, and I can't wait!! Because Barbra Streisand IS great, and funny and talented ! So YEAH THAT'S GREAT NEWS!! Haters be gone!

he never said he was hater, ya need to calm down. and i happen to like family guy AND barbra and just bc shes done so much latly doesnt mean that person was a huge fan of hers to keep up with her.

she sucks. her music sucks. and her acting sucks. this movie will be terrible. seth rogan also sucks. he's just that dude that was kind of funny in that one movie. that's it. and old boring people are the only people that listen to barbra streisand's music.

I agree. What's Up Doc? is a classic screwball comedy, every bit as good as Bringing Up Baby or The Palm Beach Story. The Owl and the Pussycat is over the top fun and I am one of the few who really likes Hello, Dolly, because it cost a lot of money and you can see where the money went! I am looking forward to three movies this holiday season: Les Miserables, Hitchcock and The Guilt Trip!
