IMDB reviewers are too critical

This was actually a genuinely funny movie. The dialogue was excellent, if anyone bothered to notice. People should never listen to what they read on IMDB anyway, watch a movie and judge for yourself. Too much garbage out there these days, and this movie towers above that lot.

Good statement, DangerManTX , its a fun movie about family dynamics that you would think most could identify with. Our youngish kids (11) enjoyed it even w/ a few words of mild profanity. Below is from the parents Guide imdb ...

I have watched the film and its decidedly average.

IMDB reviewers are too critical...or in some cases, too generous with their praise.

This movie wasn't horrible, nor was it great by any stretch of the imagination.

And I suspect some of them are afraid of liking this because it's not "cynical enough"

I agee, this movie was exactly what I figured it would be when I hit Play on Netflix.

Not a classic, but, what did people expect when they saw Streisand and Rogan together?
