OK so at the end you see that Joyce is calling Ben and possibility that they may start something up...I wish they would've had something that shows Scioclean on the shelves at a store or something so we knew that Andrew was ok in the end and things ended up positive.
I guess the HSN scene was to show that but it was still up in the air where as Joyce actually made contact at the end with Ben.
Seriously? It's utterly irrelevant... I get wanting to know and all, but the product/sales bit was just a red herring...
shareThere is an alternate ending on the DVD, actually, where Andrew has his product marketed on television, where a male model plays him, selling the product to the audience. He also meets Joyce Margolis again at a hotel, and it is implied that the two might start a relationship. Don't know why they didn't put in the movie. Maybe they felt it was too cliche and sappy, and that they already hinted to those things in the ending they chose.
