DR. PHIL

There was an episode of that show (repeated a scant two weeks later) where Dr. Phil interviewed Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogan in what was an obviously blatant attempt to publicize this movie.

Apparently, it didn't work: the movie got dismal reviews and flopped at the box office.
I don't doubt it will do just as poorly on DVD!

I thought it was great...and the people who I saw this with saw them on the Dr. Phil show to which you are referring, and that is why they wanted to go and invited me. Glad I went, because I thought it was a highly entertaining and fun, cute, sweet film.

I just have to jump in on this movie again. I really tried to like it but from the first two minutes I could tell it was a bust. I stayed only because I needed a ride home. Seth Rogen was strapped in to this girly-man character. He is at his best when he is slinging his filthy mouth around. Hey, some people have type casted themselves. As for Babs, whatever acting talent she once had is way gone. She reminded me of kid in the school play that wanted to keep looking at the teacher/camera for direction. She sure can sing,but.....
How anyone could not see these two were uncomfortable doing this movie is beyond me. No chemistry whatsoever.
I kept wondering while enduring the movie who would have been two better actors. Couldn't come up with anyone with talent. Suggestions?
