Could this make a billion world wide?

http://howmuchaction.blogspot.com tells you how much action is in movies

that will be a coup of the century but you never know. But will do 600 mil for sure which is still huge for a 75 mil budget movie. Mind you last one also churned cool profit! And include the revenue of non theater too( dvd/tv/cable rights).
May be combining the two it must be around a bil, which ain't bad at all!

I think it's going to get higher. I've got a feeling about this one. 750 or more.

Not to mention merchandising and what ever movie tie-in deals that they made. They are making a killing.

I am not sure how high it will go, but I am sure that video sale and rental boosted the opening for this sequel. I did not know how good this was going to be until I saw 'Despicable Me' on video after seeing the 'Despicable Me 2' trailers.

Despicable Me cleared $540 million worldwide and I think this movie will do better but not $1 billion. I'm guessing $700 million tops.

That's disgusting! Oh, I don't want my children to see this!

It still dominates here in germany

it is getting close and has still some legs in international market but china will decide billion dollar fate. It is capable of hitting 150 bil in china but this late release is not helping I have no idea what these distributors are doing? It is a kids film and there should be no problem with the chinese government.

It is already a massive hit regardless and still lot of money to come from non theatrical releases(dvd,tv, blue ray=250 mil!)
