Minions-Language?

Based on some of the words I picked out like "Gelato" when the ice cream truck arrived, I think the Minions speak some version of Italian.

Do a google search and you'll find that they take bits and pieces of many languages plus make up a few words of their own.

I recognised the Japanese word for cheers (something that sounds like kampai) due to playing the yakuza games far too much
