Did not deserve Oscar Nomination... Mediocre to semi-good at best

Should have been replaced with Monsters University, and if you say this movie is better than MU then you obviously do not know what makes up a good animated movie because i will point out every single reason why this movie is totally overrated. It seemed much smaller in scale then the first movie, jokes were NOWHERE near as funny or original as the first one (Still fckin love the cat story when the kitties drank the milk Lol) and the characters this time around were far less appealing(Gru for some reason annoyed me a little in this one) The story is similar to the first (Gru becomes good and saves the world) and there were just too many eh moments mixed in with great moments, which is a flaw a lot of sequels have because it seems that if the first in a series is good or really good, the sequel just never attains that same level of humor or appeal that the original had (Even though more people are psyched to see it) Some things worked and some didn't, but if you have to talk about quality, writing, and appeal, MU beats this movie any day (Especially since it's technically the second in a series as well)
