It felt like a Netflix movie. And was too long
Netflix destroyed movies. Now even when they come in theaters - they still feel like cheap movie made by AI who they spent 200 millions on. And then it looks like they spend 50 millions on it.
And it didn't had to be 2 hours long. When will directors stop making 2 hours movies? It's just why? It's boring. They don't have enough material for 2 hours. So every time it feels like they add scenes to kill time.
Like whole line of Aaron Taylor-Johnson evil girlfriend. And that stupid fight she had with Gosling. Should have stayed on the cutting flour. It's like they hired Teresa Palmer and then had to give her something to do.
That chase scene where Gosling was running for that car that stole that woman with dogs. It was going on forever.
Ending action scene was going on forever too.
And I like Emily Blunt. But she just can't play love interest. For some reason. No matter how she tries - it always feels flat and she looks like she is friends with her co-stars. There is no spark and passion. She had none with Gosling, with Rock, with Tom Cruise, with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, with Cillian Murphy.
The only time she had some sort of feeling was in Quiet Place with her own real life husband. They did looked like a couple who is married for many years and respects and loves each other.
