Fascinating
Below the 1km or so thick Antarctic glacial ice pack are fresh-water lakes teeming w/ microbes, and sentiments revealing the history of the continent before the ice formed (which they don't make much of a point about, but is one of the more fascination aspects of this expedition's data).
If you're into science, paleoclimatology, etc. - recommended. It was fascinating how they ran a hot water drill down to melt the ice down to the lake - it surprised me that it would take a few days for the bore hold to freeze over. A nice mixture of engineering and scientific data acquisition, under very rigorous conditions.
