One of the worst films in years

A huge disappointment and one of the worst movies I've seen in years. The performances are one note and the characters poorly developed. The film is stylish, but lacks substance. It is often predictable and some scenes drag on pointlessly. The film is not very entertaining or thrilling or mysterious.

agreed, it truly is a horrific movie, however all of modern cinema is bad today, I'm not sure how people can stand it.

This is an underrated film. Glimpse inside the mind of a serial killer.

I think the issue I had with it is that we don't learn anything from this glimpse inside the mind of a serial killer. I don't find it believable or interesting.

Well, 6.8 on IMDB would indicate that most people look upon it at least favorably.

Some people seem to love it, but there are also several people who hate it. IMDB ratings don't always reflect the true quality of the film.

It impressed me enough to look into the other films of director Chan-wook Park, which introduced me to the wonderful world of South Korean cinema.
