When they were talking about his favorite shooter being Goldeneye and he loved playing as Oddjob with slappers, I instantly lost any respect for his gaming ability.

Pretty much everyone who played this game back in the day had a "No Oddjob" rule, since it was common knowledge that he was cheap and using him was a bitch move! Especially with slappers!

It's within the rules, just exploiting the existing rules

You can legitimately choose the shortest character

You can legitimately choose slappers

So you can play the little guy who easily beats the biggest guy (Jaws, who as I recall couldn't slap Oddjob unless he crouched) -- seems like something Halliday would like

But I agree it's a weird line, no doubt thrown in just to sound gamer-hip
