Wonderful film.

I agree, this to me has to be the ultimate feelgood movie. A wonderfully uplifting and heartwarming story. I had a smile on my face almost the whole time I was watching it. All the main characters were very likeable people and the interaction between all of them was well played out.

As soon as I saw the opening scene with the two main characters headbanging in the car to Earth, Wind and Fire, I thought I was in for something special and I wasn't disappointed. I don't know how anyone could dislike the Driss character, just that big beaming smile of his was enough to put anyone in a good mood and some of his lines were so comical. His engaging personality captured almost everyone he came into contact with especially the two female actors.

The final scene was extremely well done, the look on Phillippe's face when he finally got to meet Elenore almost had me in tears.

Overall an excellent buddy movie that really lifts the spirits and shows how people from entirely different backgrounds can become so much more than friends. 9.5/10
