They should bring back the same actors and make a Camelot movie

and have it formed into a trilogy so to speak, I loved, loved all the actors in this show.

Ignore the poster who first responded to you. I think the show is very good and I'm disappointed that it's cancelled. I love the show Merlin but it is more of a fun/fantasy show and caters to a more younger demographic. However Camelot is for a more mature audience, but good as well. I'm only on episode 4 in Camelot and in episode 10 of Season 4 on Merlin.

forsaken I have to say I did change my mind about the show when I reached episode 5. I made a mistake of reading the synopsis of the upcoming episodes and didn't like what I saw was going to happen, and where the show was going. I loved the Leontes character and also Queen Igraine, and didn't like Merlin's continual anger and resentment to his use of his magic. I stopped watching after ep 5 and would not have tuned in for a Season 2. I think I'm going to stick with the BBC TV series "Merlin". And I'm not a teenager, I'm a grown adult, but I so love that show.

Fenix are you writing to me? Cause I don't see where you get off insulting me and calling me names with the use of asterisks. I notice some posts were deleted by the Administrator, and mine weren't, so I'm assuming mine weren't offensive. Maybe yours were the posts that were deleted. Let's see how long this latest one lasts. I don't remember writing to you so imagine my shock to see your insult appear in my Inbox. Ah well, there are classless people everywhere. I just gave a nice, decent opinion about something and you just chose to write and insult me. Hope you feel better to get those off your chest.

I was so surprised by the inanity of Fenix's post I checked his/her history: it is apparently something typical of this poster. Same goes on other boards. Posts like this one are by far more numerous than posts that actually say something...

pol-edra, seems I was right in what I said previously, because the Administrator did delete Fenix's post. I did tell him that I'm sure it would be deleted, and it was. His remarks were really uncalled for.

I reported him. Couldn't stand reading his insults anymore (he was on the GoT board too). It is a rare thing that a bit of conversation still goes on long after a show has been broadcast and cancelled like Camelot, it's too precious to let it go bad because of idiots like this. And I didn't even like this show!!!

I still visit these boards every day for new posts :) I did like this show and am sad that it was cancelled. Season 2 would be airing right now :( At least The Borgias and Game of Thrones have been renewed for a third run.

Good to know there are still people dropping by!
I might rewatch the whole series soon. I am aware that a lot of my distaste for Camelot came from the huge disappointment it was due to my (too) high expectations. Now that I know not too expect what I did, I might actually enjoy it more and find hidden beauties to its plot, characters, cinematography etc...

poledra, good you reported him. Seems like he's still writing, but his posts keeps getting deleted by the Admin. lol. Anyhow, I only watched up to ep 5 of Camelot, but I can't help feeling sad and I so want to watch the rest. But I think I will be more sad because of the deaths of Queen Igraine and Leontes which I read about on the IMDB synopsis board. Do you think it's worth it to watch the rest, given how I already feel? Give me some advice.

In that case, I don't think so. Episode 6 was the worst one in my opinion. It did get a little better from episode 7-10, though. You do find out something new in the finale and there is a cliffhanger, but other than that, no. Oh and there is one more death. It was that nun who helped Morgan.

Thanks maksavorst. I appreciate the info and I appreciate that you also did the spoiler thing like I (lol). The only way I'll watch them is if I have nothing else to watch online, and I can't see that happening anytime soon! Thanks again.

maksavorst, I too am enjoying Game of Thrones. I watched the first season of The Borgias and plan to watch the current one online, as I don't get it where I am on cable. I have to catch up online but I think it's a great show and can't wait to catch up.

It is my understanding that the Eva Green show, commonly refered to as "Camelot", was a failure, because as awesome as she might be - you cant have Eva Green carry a tv show all by herself alone.

As the show was a failure, any followup is unlikely.

poem, I don't know much about the actress Eva Green, and therefore would not refer to it as "her show". I think Joseph Fiennes is also a fine actor so she would not have been carrying the show alone. However, I did not like how Merlin was portrayed in Camelot, although I find that Morgan (or Morgana - Eva) was portrayed very well. I loved Leontes, and I also loved Queen Igraine. I think the whole portrayal of the show was not great. Merlin was constantly angry (and also not doing any magic per se); Arthur seemed so wimpy that you could not envisage him as a great king; Guinevere was always playing with his emotions and didn't seem like she loved him once she did settle down with Leontes (which is so far from the Guinevere/Lancelot plot as we know it); and I also did not like how they dealt with Leontes and Queen Igraine (I did not even stick around to watch the episodes - I read the synopsis first and was heartbroken - lol).

So I don't think saying that Eva Green alone couldn't carry the show is correct; it wasn't just about her - it was so much more than that, IMO.

Ya me to and its sad it seems like any show my hubby and I both like to watch and we really get into it gets canceled. JAG was the same way on CBS then NBC ran with it and took it a long way. This year they canceled Vegas we both love that show. We should all write and email and sign petitions to the production company and to the show host and sometimes that works and they bring it back. it has worked before.
