I know there's a million topics about people disappointed it was canceled but I mean damn, it seemed like it was just about to get good. I mean, okay, it's definitely no Game of Thrones as far as writing and plot goes, but it's still better than most of the bullsh!t on tv these days.

I thought it was better than Game of Thrones. Game of Thrones is one of the most overrated shows on tv. Unlike GoT, Camelot had some great actors, characters worth caring about, and a long range plot direction with interesting terrain features that arrive at faster than a glacial pace. It even had better sex and violence, and accomplished all this while staying remarkably faithful to an appropriate blend of the various Arthurian legends, with a slightly more historical backdrop than usual, effectively finding the right mix of magic and realism to tell several powerful stories. It was engrossing tv.
