Camelot gone, now three historical dramas to take its place!

Upcoming in 2013 & 2014:

Da Vinci's Demons
The White Queen
Black Sails

I wonder if Starz is regretting letting Camelot (and even the sequel to Pillars of the Earth) go? Although the show had a lot to be desired in storytelling, it brought in viewers. Magic City has been a ratings disappointment, and Boss has been a disaster.

Da Vinci's Demons and The White Queen seem to be good, but Black Sails doesn't sound that interesting to me.
Yeah, its bad they let Camelot go :( But I wonder how World Without End is doing on ratings.

It's the other way around for me. A Pirate series? Count me in! Ships, battles, treasures... yummy! Although I will keep an eye out for the other two as well, of course. I never get enough of historical dramas (which, however, Camelot was not, so if any of those three shows follow the same road, they'll be just as much of a disappointment to me...)

A pirate series! Yeah absolutely count me in on that as well

Boss and Camelot were excellent shows. I only bothered watching one episode of Da Vinci's Demons and thought it was lame. The other two you list don't look compelling or original.

Gawain from this show is in the History Channel's "Vikings" as the brother of the protagonist. His role is much bigger in that show, which is fitting.
