Guinevere's Hair

Guinevere's hair bothered me immensely. It was way too modern. She had layers and highlights and a side part. That hairstyle did not exist back then, even in a make believe kingdom. Morgan's hair was accurate and what Guinevere's hair should have looked like (but blonde).

Yeah, I know. A totally trivial detail but annoying nonetheless. Other than that I didn't mind the show, haha.

That's evolution, baby. So mutate or step aside.

Not only that, but the actress was not right for the part! She looked like a cast member from some MTV inspired reality show...

She was horrible, her hair was horrible. She looked like she wandered in off The OC or Gossip Girl, or some other show from VH1 or the CW. Every time I thought it couldn't get worse, she would show up with a worse look. I think with the headband was one of the worst.

That's what I call nitpicking.

Never mind Guinevere's hair. What about Arthur's?. Drove me nuts

Thank you I've had same issues- she sticks our like a bleach blonde thumb.

Quite the appropriate turn of phrase!
I have wondered whether they simply botched it or whether they were trying to make a way too obvious point (in which case they botched it too, only differently): were they trying to stress her characterization as a silly goose? an air-headed, self-centered teenager with no thought or care for anything besides her own pleasure and whim? I think the way the character was scripted made that all too obvious and there was no need to add the hair to that, but maybe that is what they had in mind. Maybe it's just a case of yet another bad creative choice, there are several IMO in that show.
