Movie or 1 season series?

I thought initially this was going to be a mini series leading up to Loki being a jerk, but now I'm thinking it was a movie.

Did it morph at some point or am I just confused. Probably aught to watch HvT / HvW again to see the trailer / teaser...

This was always a direct-to-video animated movie. In fact, it is the final one produced by Marvel and Lionsgate. Now, if it would just get a release date!

I know, for some reason when I wrote this it seemed like they were setting it up to be a short season, but in retro I have no clue why I thought that.

I opened up Hulk vs. the other day and watched the 'first look' again. I can't wait. It still looks really, really good.

I'm sad if this really is Marvel + Lionsgate's last animated. Avengers and Iron Man were both basically unwatchable and I won't watch Avengers again... but Dr. Strange just floored me in awe and everything after that was top notch, but a tad shaky with Young Avengers, but was still very enjoyable.

I want more Hulk vs. !!!!!!! And World War Hulk. Wahhh.

Next Disc.
Hulk vs... Thing! (He's my favorite!)
Hulk vs... Iron Man !!!!!!!! (Needs some Hulkbuster goodness..)

Next Disc.
Hulk vs Venom (Could do some amazing things with this...)
Hulk vs Sabertooth (Sorry I'm a sucker for Sabertooth)

Next Disc.
Hulk vs Jubilee (It'd be 5 minutes of her blasting/blinding him and dodging and end with her riding Hulk around pew pewing some robots or something)
Hulk vs Juggernaut (Just pure awesome!!!!!!!!!)

I should go to bed, I might regret this tomorrow. Oh well. Nice talking to you!!!!

Yeah I watched the first look feature in the Planet Hulk Blu-ray and after watching it I'm not as excited for it as I was when I first heard about it. I'm not going to say it'll be a bad movie or anything like that, I'm just a bit dissappointed w/ the animation style. It seems too...I don't know..."kiddie" to me? Yes I do know that it's a cartoon w/ the target audience being kids but I enjoy a good Marvel story now and again as well. After seeing the cover of the film on the interent and then seeing the different style of animation kinda bummed me out but oh well.

Plus I'm kind of turned off w/ this being somewhat of an "origin" story of sorts since it takes place when he's younger. I figured they can leave the origin story for the live action film and have a Thor vs. Loki or Thor vs. Beta Ray Bill thing in the animated movie (but I'm sure it'll have a Loki fight since he's in the film). I've just never been too big of a fan of superheros as kids stories. But that's just me.

I think I'll skip this (for now) and just enjoy the Hulk vs Thor. Oh, I think it should be in Marvels interest to make an animated movie featuring some of the lesser known characters. Not everything they release has to have Spiderman or Hulk or Iron Man or Wolverine on the cover. Good job w/ the Dr. Strange movie though & I would love to see the Galactus triology from FF4 or a Thanos movie or better yet, a New Gods animated movie.
