BREAKING WIND
This was released in 2011, a year after VS came out...what's your op-inion if you saw both?
Oh. You got more angst than the Prive Life of the American Teenagewr. So there.
Friedberg and Seltzer are clearly the best directing duo currently working. The fact that other directors are copying them, long before they're irrelevant, proves it.
Breaking Wind fails in a lot of places though. First of all, Vampires Suck has a much better plotline. BW is all over the place, spoofing several films at once. Also, the cinematic angles used by VS are far superior.
I can't wait for their film The Starving Games to come out. It'll be interesting to see what 'mockbusters' it will inspire.
