Which Tupac songs do you think should be in the movie?

Tupac's life was already like a movie, and his music was like a soundtrack. Which of his songs do you think should be featured in "All Eyez on Me"?

My own choices:

"Starin' Through My Rear View"- This song really captures my imagination, especially after seeing "Tupac Resurrection". The intro provided such an adrenaline running reawakening to the man, myth, and legend during a stroll back in time to his last days, I don't really want another opening song now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VL2ZkK7rSI

"All Eyez on Me"- The song's name comes from Tupac's comeback album, just like the movie does. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05PCmqjIeNE.

"California Love"- The biggest hit from the comeback album inspiring the movie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wBTdfAkqGU.

"Dear Mama"- In memory of Tupac's late mother, Afeni Shakur. She can't have her life retold without her son's love for her shining on record and the big screen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mb1ZvUDvLDY.

"So Many Tears"- A song about deep depression and despair. Tupac's actor even said it's his favorite one from him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tbs7wWLXLpw.

"Temptations"- One joint i'm mostly anticipating, just for rowdy concert scenes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48VpzFdUJ8o.

"2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted"- Tupac and Snoop Dogg bonded in their unfortunate charges. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BL6dWDfs5x8.

"How Do You Want It"- House of Blues. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Cb608sjW4AA8JbX.jpg.

"Ambitionz az a Ridah"- See above.

"Hit 'Em Up"- The most controversial, hostile diss track of all time. pressing the East Coast vs West Coast issue to the next level. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41qC3w3UUkU.

"Brenda's Got A Baby"- I gotta admit, I wanna see the music video redone, even though I appreciate the message. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRWUs0KtB-I.

"Keep Ya Head Up"- See above. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XW--IGAfeas.

"Just Watchin"- A small gem from the Death Row era. These pictures and footage support even more of the movie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWflf1OlEtU.

"Let's Get it On"- Mike Tyson vs Bruce Seldon in Las Vegas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3Wg2_2_4yo.

"Pain"- From the "Above the Rim" movie soundtrack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSgkBF6LjH4.

Ok i'm done. You can agree, disagree, or you can just post the songs you think should be featured in the movie.

Holla If U Hear Me need to be in it

Somedays you just can't dispose of a bomb.

Agreed. Tupac leading his comrades in a revolt against corruption sure got him some good fanfare and unwanted attention from his critics at the same time. Good choice.

You forgot i ain't mad at cha 2pac most underrated song in my opinion.

reply

I left off "I Ain't Mad At Cha" because the song didn't make the airwaves until Tupac passed, which throws off it's impact in the movie for me. I'd prefer if he got to enjoy people's reaction to the song before the movie used it for any other reason. I don't think it could guide a scene, or just settle on a screening of the song's makings pre- release, like the two other post death songs I posted in my op, "Starin Through My Rear View", and "Just Watchin".

No kidding. I just found another good song I really advise to be in the movie. "Revolution": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgVBY72KlB4.

Those are great songz! However, only about two or three of them will most likely be played in the film. The more commercial/mainstream songs of his.

I'm gonna say it since nobody said it.

All Eyez On Me (will def get played in the film that beat is legendary!)
To Live & Die in L.A
I Get Around
Me Against the World (LOVE THIS SONG!)
Temptations
If My Homie Calls
Pour Out a Little Liquor (LOVE THIS SONG!)

Yup. I also wouldn't be surprised if the song played on the official trailer.

I Get Around

Agreed. I think this song was really Tupac's first party hit when he went solo.

Me Against the World (LOVE THIS SONG!)

Agreed again. I mean hell, the actual album was basically the story of his life, let alone the song. If the movie wasn't called "All Eyez on Me", then "Me Against the World" would've been the perfect title.

Temptations

This was in my op. I think it could serve as a scene narrator to Tupac, just alone with his thoughts, chilling and drifting away mentally, after the affects of smoking marijuana kicked in to calm the stress on his mind.

If My Homie Calls

Cool. This song was the follow up to "Brenda's Got a Baby" from his first album.
