Nah, Tupac's life was R Rated to the core. The movie won't be PG-13.
shareGiven recent success of R Rated movies (Straight Outta Compton, Deadpool) I think even a smaller studio would have confidence to deliver an R-Rated Tupac movie to mainstream audiences. Also, consider that Notorious was released nearly 10 years ago to moderate success with an R rating. I can see a studio wanting to bring the younger crowd in with PG-13, but the life of Tupac, his music and death shouldn't be held back by the rating.
If there was any time to do a hard R Tupac movie, it would be now.
It can't be no other way. Today's kids and teens were never the target audience.
