So they got the guy who played Biggie in Notorious (2009) to return

That's pretty cool, even though it would make more sense to have had Anthony Mackie return as Tupac as well. I know Mackie looks nothing like Tupac and this new guy at least kinda resembles him, but Mackie could definitely act. This new guy will probably be meh, just like the guy who played Biggie. Still, I like the attempt at continuity.

Anthony Mackie sucked as Tupac. I think the filmmakers were right to leave him out of the movie. Jamal Woolard is good enough.

Anthony Mackie Sucked he better not come near a pac role again in his life he was terrible in Notorious.

Mackie is a great actor but was wrong for pac even though I think it was the script/writers fault for portraying pac like that. The guy playing pac now can be good/bad we don't know until the official trailer comes out.

I'm kinda still against Woodward playing Biggie again cuz 1. It's going to be confusing to people thinking this a hip hop cinematic universe when it's not and 2 he wasn't bad but they could've still used a different actor cuz casting him again after what 9 years later just seem lazy he's not the only person to play biggie they could've went unknown. They mind as well shouldve gotten dre snoop Suge from Straigh outta Compton to come in this too.

@Kaywilllz7 I don't really have a problem with the directors going with Jamal Woolard again cause who else u going to get to play biggie? i doubt they wanted to get a no name and fear of how bad he was going to be playing biggie but then again Demetrius Shipp is a no name also so ,but i woulndn't mind them getting the Suge from Straight outta compton he play'd suge good in my opnion the 1 in notorios didn't get enough screen time for me to judge how good he was as suge , but i think this suge will do a good job just a gut felling.

They could've gotten a no name actor as biggie. That's what auditions are for. It was just a lazy no brainer for them to pick him again. Im beginning to think some roles didn't need any auditions especially for Daz's son. It's not a coincidence that after he just played his dad in this low budget never will see the light of day Dogg pound film, he's playing him again? That almost goes to Shipp, whose dad knew and produced for pac but that may have been just luck or something. It's funny cuz there's not public casting calls for this film especially for a Pac film? I still can't wait to see this but I'm keeping a side eye on this tho.

Definitely not lazy. He played Biggie really good. What's wrong with that!? Nothing!
