Question on BMWs, Crime Scene LAPD footage...

So the question I have is the LAPD footage of Pac's bullet ridden vehicle is completely different than the vehicle he was seen in with Suge.

20 years later I can't see how this has been overlooked. So how will this be represented in the film?

In the linked video the agent does state there where 2 different BMWs, one Pac's and the other the BMW Volkswagen part of his entourage. But there were no reports of the entourage or other cars being shot at in interviews or books I've read. So who was in this (BMW Volkswagen) car and why is it so shot up if Pac was the intended target in the other car? Confused.
