Trailer is...

Odd? I guess it's unique, but it doesn't feel like a trailer, or a teaser. It feels unifinished, and the logo is kinda bad.

I have no issue with teaser.... everything looks good to me... can't wait to see movie.

No one close to Tupac or from his camp really seems to be behind this movie, not a lot of them are still around or even that famous any more, Snoop Dogg is the only friend that comes to mind.

LT Hutton produced the movie, he produced some tracks for Tupac. Edi Mean and Young Noble are playing themselves in the movie (they were in Tupac's squad Outlawz so they were closer to him than most). Treach was reported to be on set as well at some point (close friends) as well as Shock G from Digital Underground (who Tupac started his rap-career with)

Snoop and Tupac wasn't friends in the end, massive fallout when Snoop Dogg refused to get in line regarding dissing Biggie and Puffy , who Snoop still was friendly with before and after the Death Row vs Bad Boy beef and didn't feel like picking sides so Pac picked it for him.

Well that doesn't really matter if the product is good... Lauren Graham and Danai Gurira both from THE WALKING DEAD are in it, as well as Kat Graham and Jamal Woodard so there are some recognizeable faces in it.

Well Suge Knight is in jail so he's not gonna executive produce it

Snoop Dogg wasn't really all that tight with Pac especially in the later weeks when he found out that Snoop had been hanging out with Biggie despite the 'east coast/west coast' beef... Dr Dre of course left Death Row and Pac made multiple diss tracks towards him because of that and for taking credits of songs he didn't produce so they weren't as tight as Dre like to make people believe.

What other big names would you think would be up for the task that were in his 'camp'?

Suge Knight is the only person that could parallel Diddy. But he went to jail after Tupac got murdered in 1996. After that Death Row was pretty much taken from him even after he changed it to Tha Row.

Suge Knight could have been good to Executive Produce the movie but when he was free from Jail the first time, it seemed like he stopped doing business. He seemed to act like an over grown kid. He was still partying and getting into trouble. Then he really messed up when he killed the Gentleman on the SOC Movie set.

Diddy went on to continue to do business. He was Executive Producer for the movie "Dope" which was good and other projects.

I can't think of any big names that was in Tupac's camp that could be up for the task. Movies are not easy to make.

LT Hutton didn't produce music for Pac until after he passed. The song he did with Ashanti and T.I. is on "Pac's Life", a posthumous Album.

Yeah but on the other hand, Diddy executive produced NOTORIOUS and tbh it might have been a good idea if he wasn't because Diddy was portrayed as being pretty flawless and a fair recordlabel owner, which we all have heard stories about how that is not really all that true (forcing his artists to have him featured in their videos and on top of that charging them for it etc).

Or Dr.Dre leaving out his women-beating in STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON, chances are that Suge would go on a similar route and it wouldn't make for a fair depiction of any of the people involved.

My bad about LT Hutton, I couldn't really figure out which songs he produced in all honesty.

QD3 would might been a better option as the producer of the film but but...

QD3 did produce the DOC "Thug Angel" so maybe but we all know (at least I think we all know) how shady Quincy Jones is.

Yes. You are correct about Dr. Dre making sure he left out the scene with the reporter Dee (I think her name is ) and I think he beat on Michele'le as well. Since I stop paying for cable, I won't be able to view her movie. Like the original title of her film.

So Diddy portrayed himself as flawless??? LOL! Didn't get a chance to watch "Notorious" yet. I was very sick around that time. I only remember it coming out on "Aaliyah's B-Day" (Jan. 16). I did go to film school with the Director George Tillman. We went to Columbia College Chicago and I met him through his wife Marcia Wright. I have read articles and message boards about "Notorious" not being very good. Gonna still see it finally this year on DVD.

Yes. Suge would have most likely did the same thing. It would have been hard for him to look flawless because he really acted like a "thug" and "strong arm" almost all of the time. LOL!

As far as Record Executives, Diddy and Suge Knight both treated the Musical Artists under them the same. They would sign on a bunch of Artists, they would become work horses for the record label, then they wouldn't get paid or hardly paid. I know Danny Boy didn't get paid his royalty checks on Death Row. The "suits" got paid off the top and Diddy and Suge got their cuts but the Artists got almost zelch. Diddy and Suge were very shady. Remember their are reports of Pac dying broke. Some reports say less than 50K in the bank, some reports say less than 100K. That's Artist Poor for someone who made the Record Company millions. He definitely should have become a Millionaire after "All Eyez on Me". But Tupac died so darn young so he wouldn't have been able to enjoy it and he was always in Court (phooey).
