I Wonder if John Singleton is still making his version?

Let me start off by saying i have a great feeling about this flim(all eyes on me) and think it will do good, anyway i wonder singleton is still making his 2pac flim it's been a min since i heard about it maybe he scrapped the idea and ion see why ppl are so stuck and mad that marcc rose didn't get to play pac in this flim i belive demitrus shipp is going to do a great job either way i'm going to see both flims.

If he does then i'll see his movie, but I hope he's not making his own biopic just to get one over on "All Eyez on Me". He wants a more positive take on Tupac's life which could turn out to be just as bad as the negativity he saw in the upcoming Benny Boom version, if he's not careful. Tupac was a very intense person through and through. He was the type to give into his feelings on full affect in any situation, whether he was making music, speaking on politics, or acting, he didn't hold back on how blessed he felt, or what made him ticked. There was no one way conduct, and John Singleton should know better, if he's planning on doing Tupac justice. He saw both sides of him when he was alive, and he knows he wasn't flawless. He had his moments just like everybody else, which is a reason why he's so beloved. He was as real as it gets, and people connected to him, because he was one of them.

As far as Marc Rose goes, I really don't care about him not playing Tupac. Like I said in another post, he had one damn scene for less than a minute, and supposedly he wasn't even using his own voice. I think people are just caught up in his looks, because he's no more of an actor than the chosen lead, who looks even more like Tupac imo. Marc Rose to me, looks like a smaller, darker version of Warren G, or the rapper Saigon.

I fell Benny's gonna do a good job with this flim like i said yes he does mostly music video's and this is his only 2nd time directing a movie he did Next day air also a comedy a good movie in my opinion i liked it and, call me crazy but i think demetrius shipp jr look's more like pac and you're right marcc rose does favor warren g a little, and yes i heard about him using some else voice in the straight outta compton flim but and a interview on youtube he claim's that is false and he did use his own voice smh but ppl are talking about this dude(marcc rose) you would have thought he had done like 10 movies already straight outta compton was his first flim and like you said he was in it for less than a minute.

Nah, I don't think you're crazy. He has a more blatant resemblance to Tupac than Marc Rose does.

but and a interview on youtube he claim's that is false and he did use his own voice smh

I saw the interview, and i'm still kind of skeptical. His scene came across awkward to me.

Yeah, i've seen how people keep tearing down "All Eyez on Me" just because he won't be in it, or because John Singleton quit. They haven't even seen the movie yet, and they're already nitpicking or assuming it's gonna suck without them on board, even though the Outlawz are involved, as well as Afeni Shakur, and the lead actor's family who knew Tupac. I guess it doesn't matter though, because some people are just so skeptical, it's almost like they hope for the worst instead of the best more than anything. They get off on whining because it makes them feel important and smart.

I thought I was the only one that felt that scene was off. I'm sorry, as much as I loved SOC, that scene was awkward and unnecessary little bit. Talking about they needed that. No you didn't. Why? Why did you? Also I think that's unfair that they chosed that scene over Arabian Prince...well nvm cuz I think I know why but I digress.

Anyway, I did have doubts about AEOM since there was skeptical stuff going on but imma give it a chance and judge it by trailer and the actual film. But there is still some doubt stuff there based on what I seeing in the BTS pics tho. I didn't see Afeni Shakur none of the set pics at all I followed the BTS clips since day 1 never saw her.

Afeni Shakur is the executive producer, and from what i've read, she's been very hands on about her own experiences to help progress the movie.

Gobi M. Rahimi was meant to do a Tupac movie as well, focusing on the last 7 days of his life.

I think the only way John Singleton would ever consider doing it is if this movie 'All Eyez On Me' is a total turkey and he wants to make justice to Tupac's name, if this movie however is appreciated than he won't.

Somedays you just can't dispose of a bomb.

John S. did a recent interview on The Big Tigger Show in Hotlanta! He didn't speak on doing his version of a TUPAC MOVIE. He ONLY spoke about AEOM having problems in production.
