Seriously the lack of information for this movie is annoying me lol. I am patient when it comes to a film release but what's annoying is that this have nothing whatsoever.
I did listen to the interview with Hutton regarding the release but me wanting to see it so bad... it's a letdown everytime I come to its IMDb page and see no news on it. It's 2nd teaser isn't even on here yet and it's been like 2 weeks since it released... I mean what's up?
The lack of info sucks, I agree. I just wanna know the release date, so I can start anticipating the hype sooner or later. There's been hardly any outside of social media, which is just bullsh!t. I mean, the teasers can at least get some tv time.
shareIt appears like they have a LAZY attitude towards this project. I may be wrong but Hollywood is not supporting this FILM like they did NOTORIOUS and SOC. I don't want to upset anyone BUT I have a feeling that this Production Team is going to continue to take US on an emotional roller coaster and AEOM is going to be shelved. I mean WTH...Did they run out of money? Is the movie really bad and they need to iron out the KINKS! Remember they did RUSH this project with a script that they kept changing over and over (according to John Singleton).
John was on YouTube on the Big Tigger show stating that the reasons they are having SO many problems is because they insisted on writing a script about TUPAC as a RAPPER ONLY and his ADMIRERS know that he was SO much more than that.
Leila Steinberg revealed that the movie is ONLY going to show SNAP SHOTS of his life SO that means very little scenes showing TUPAC as a person and more scenes showing TUPAC as an Entertainer.
They could do SO much more. He was FAMOUS for the last 5 years of his life (1991-1996).

Yeah something's fishy, whatever it is. I just want a good movie about Tupac Shakur all around about his personal life and entertainment life. I did just see a YouTube video of Benny Boom stating that the movie will be 2 hours 30 minutes and the extended version on dvd should be 3 hours and change.
I'm okay with that info, but they still don't know when the movie will be released lol... it's crazy. We'll just have to be patient though, no choice.

But if the rumors are true that they are considering reshoots because they think that fans will think the Tupac in the film is too one-dimensional (as the fans see him as a rather complex man) then it makes sense that they can't add runningtime just yet, as they couldn't possibly know how long it will be in the end... Nor when the final release date will be
Benny Boom have never directed any big stories like this before he's done a couple simple straight to dvd flicks and some music videos so it was bound to be a difficult task for him (it would be even for a more experienced director), that said hopefully he'll manage to put something good together
