How would you compare that film to The Revenant?
I haven’t seen it, but I am curious to check the film out soon just to see another take on a Hugh Glass story. If you did see it, is it worth the time?

Don't bother. It's dull and goes nowhere with its themes.
shareFor me, I'd say that in some ways, MITW is better than this film in terms of story and structure. Whereas this movie is better than MITW in terms of filmmaking and technology. Both films have great acting, great thought-provoking messages about dealing with the hardships of life, and showing that the human spirit is incredible when put through such trials and tribulations.
It's all in a matter of perception and your own preference.
What I liked about MITW was it was a story of rebirth and redemption. This film was mostly about revenge.
