Seems like this survival technique is also a useful way to learn how to become a top animator. I think Hugh Glass could've really gotten inside more than just that horse.

and before "The Empire Strikes Back", there was

"The New Land" (1972).

Couple caught in a snowstorm kill their ox and shelter inside the carcass.

A couple of hypothermic hunters from Boise shot and crawled in their horses on a hunting trip out of McCall, Idaho in the 1980s. It was unnecessary and an outcome of mental disorientation.

Anyway, around town for years after any statue or painting with a horses noted the "flat lander sleeping bag."
