1820s F-words

F-word was way overdone in this movie, especially cause it was set in the 1820s.

According to my research, the only f-words that were accurate were "job's been *beep* from the start" and "he's the one who's been *beep* us".

...it appeared in English lexicographer John Ash's 1775 A New and Complete Dictionary, listed as "low" and "vulgar," and appearing with several definitions...

And in 1775 it had already been in use for several centuries.

It is impossible to be certain, as the word was seldom written until recently and the spoken word vanishes immediately, but I think there's every reason to believe the sort of men we're looking at in this movie would have used the word as much as similar men today.

I disagree. The curse words that were naughty in those days were blasphemous. Did these men curse alot, I am sure they did.

*beep* in 1820 was a verb. They would use it as a verb, quite alot. Not an adjective.
