Fire Shot in the Sky

I had to leave the room briefly and returned to see a small fireball in the sky. I would have run the film back but I was watching with someone who did not want to see any part of the film again. LOL... ahhh, Love.

What was behind the fire and how could it have been projected that high in the sky in that era?

Thank you.

It probably wasn't meant to be a literal fireball as much it was a vision or something that Glass (Leo) was seeing in his mind or thought he was seeing/saw.

There are several dream/fantasy sequences that take elements of what are probably Glass's memories or things he has imagined and transposes them in strange and interesting ways. Such is the fireball. It may have been something Glass saw in the past or imagined and in his state of recovery he saw it again in his mind's eye.

Thank you. That makes a good deal of sense, literally and literarily.
