The first time the princess is not overshadowed by the villain
Recently all the live action fairytales have made the mistake of going for a villain who si much more attractive than the princess like snowwhite and the Huntsman and Maleficent but they finally got it right with Cinderella.
Sure Cate is very sophomore and elegant but Lily James was truly a young gorgeous woman who definitely is more beautiful than cate blanchett. She does look like her cartoon counterpart and even prittier.
I liked this film very much and great they didn't do what they did with Maleficent and Snowwhite and the huntsman.
