The film's producers already had Bellatrix Lestrange as the Fairy Godmother alluding to Sirius Black with that Hairy Dogfather thing. Even if subcounsciously, the fact that Lily James has the names of Harry Potter's parents probably helped her to get Cindy's role.

Yeah you know these actors have played more characters. There's more to life than Harry Potter but funny how there are only two good movies to me out of 8.
