Shaggy really needs a talent

Velma does the technology, Fred the traps, Scooby the frady-cat(dog) and Daphne the cute. what does shaggy add to the team? I hope they give Shaggy something more to do than run away from monsters. I'd suggest he needs to be the one that is street-smart.

It was dropped in later versions of the show, but the original "Scooby-Doo, Where are You!" shows Shaggy to be a ventriloquist and a school athlete (which is why he can run so fast).
