Have sex? I know that as soon as she started touching his leg, he/(we) had flashbacks about him and his aunt, but i'm wondering, did that stop Charlie from making love with Sam?

They did not have sex in the movie.

You don't know that.
Just because it is not shown,
does not necessarily mean it didn't take place.

Have you seen anybody going to the toilets?
No. Yet they must have, given that the movie spans more than a year of time.

They dont in the book...if that helps.

I like to think that they do in the movie though.

I really didn't like how they went about Sam and Charlie. After he 'accidently/wrongly' kisses her she falls out with him and they don't even meet for weeks. And as soon as he saves her brother, she's like "oh yeah, you can hang out with me" :/

No, they don't have sex. In the book they don't and there's a deleted scene after they fall onto the bed where Charlie is lying awake on top of the covers in his shoes curled up next to Sam like a child, trying to sleep (I have the shooting script). He was in no place mentally to have sex with anyone given what is revealed immediately after this sequence.
