so is this intended for TEENAGERS?

Cause I'm in middle school and I read the book...but I haven't seen the movie. Should I watch the movie at this age? I'm asking because I read the book...and it was VERY mature... Or should I wait until I'm a bit older to watch it?

What do you guys think?

I think its okay to watch films with mature themes if they are presented in the right light. This is how I managed to watch The Breakfast Club as a 15 year old. However, any younger than that and I would not have appreciated the movie nor understood its message. Freshman year of high school is a great time to start watching teen films like these.
