The movie is such a disastrous mess

It's free on YouTube so I watched it. Vanessa Hudgens was trying to break out as an actress and she did terrible.

I just want to say as someone who's been through the system myself years ago the main character, a 16 year old, would not be placed back in the drug addicted mother's care. By 16 you're eligible for emancipation. Yet in the film she needs her drug addled mama's permission to stay in the pregnant teen shelter run by a whacko religious lady.

That wouldn't happen in real life. In real life she would be emancipated and eligible for section 8 housing since she had a child on the way (though there is a wait). The movie is full of lies and terrible performances.

I also can't help think it's heavily "pro-life"...
