Pretty solid action flick
I'd highly reccomend this if your a fan of Statham.
Why have a civilization if we are no longer interested in being civilized?

I thought that the movie was actually pretty good.
shareBe honest, is it a fun ride? A lot of these Statham pictures just go on and on and on, as well taking themselves far too seriously. The Mechanic and Killer Elite were both duds. I hope this is a step up.
shareOh It's a fun ride all right, in fact i'd go so far as to say it's by far Statham's best film(not counting Expendables since that was an ensemble film) this one is pretty serious as it's a brutal film, but it does some funny moments, and it's very fast paced, it takes a little time to set up the story at the beginning, but then once the action gets started, the film barely slows down, I was shocked at how quickly the film went by, before I knew it the end credits were starting and everyone in the theaters was clapping.
shareWTF? Killer Elite was one of the best films of last year. The Mechanic wasn't great, I'll give you that, but it was still a solid Statham movie.
"My God, it's full of stars."
best par of the movie, the entrance of statham in the russian bar ! lol ! very well art-directed.
shareeven if your not a Statham fan this is a fun movie for those who like crime/action flicks.
7/10When there's no more room in hell, The dead will walk the earth...
Yeah I was going to say basically the same thing.
Even if you *kind of* like Jason Statham movies, this one is a bit different and I think it will appeal to more people.
The action wasn't over the top like in some of the other films.
The shaky cam wasn't bad, I didn't notice it til the end in the casino fight/shoot-out, but some of that stuff was pretty close quarters so it made sense to use it.
I found it pretty over the top, but it made me smile :D
'They are shaping me into something gaudy. Something lethal'
I really enjoyed it as well...apart from the final showdown with Alex.. wtf ?
This was supposed to be the climax battle, the boss fight etc etc. The ultimate agents going head to head. And what happens ? The little girl shoots Alex in the leg. Jason finishes him off. Oh, complete cop out !!!
Felt a bit pissed after that tbh.
That's the most realistic part of the movie, and now you're complaining about realism?
Oh lord, I guess you can't please anybody these days. There's always one who complains about everything and are never satisfied.

Wu-Tang Clan Forever
Wtf are you on about ? Do you read much ?
I never complained about realism. I said I ENJOYED it(the film) but the ending was a cop out .imo.
FFS this board really attracts some of the stupidest people.
Have watched half now and I can already say this was way better than it's reputation, I read several posts here and at the "scene" saying don't get this one it sux but I gotta say it's solid, especially compared to the awful Blitz. After seeing that one I started wondering where Statham was going.
The violence in this one is pretty direct and straight forward, not just show-off roundkicks, Statham also picks up and uses handguns at close range in a very adequate style.

"if seagal was thinner this could have been a theatrical product."
I liked the ending, yeah it probably could resulted in a great battle but it's a bit cliche by now and I applaud this film for doing something different. I felt the little girl and Statham had equally important roles in the movie and the ending helped to emphasize that point. I'll admit I felt a bit cheated but her explanation for shooting him made up for it and I liked the realism of the gun's recoil throwing the girl back. It was also kinda funny, explanation and the girl getting thrown by the recoil.
A boat that floats on water can also sink in it.share

I liked it and I am not a fan of JS'. I think he is boring in all his films but... this one had Anson Mount in it and that's who I wanted to see in the film more than anything.
