The real title of this film.
Transporter 4: NYC
shareI agree completely. First thought that came into my mind... "Isn't this just like those transporter movies? He needs to pick different roles."
Ignorance killed the cat, curiosity just got framed.

Not really... when I saw trailer my first thought was "I've already seen The Transporter" but went any way and thought it was great. This is written and directed by a completely different guy. Only two things in common with Transporter is that Jason Stathem is the lead actor kicking ass and the lead actor is putting his neck on the line to save someone. Hardly enough similarity to earn a Transporter title. He doesn't transport a dam thing in the whole movie.
I'm not crazy about name though I understand the money is in the safe. I think a better one word title would have been "Numbers" except they might have feared a preconceived connection to the tv show. "Bad Business" might have made a good title also.
Fine by me, the transporter movies are fantastic.
The problem with that idea is that in the three actual "Transporter" films, there was a "deal" to transport someone or something from point to point that was his responsibility.
That plotpoint is completely absent here. Therefore, the logic of the OP fails.
Jake: How often does the train go by?
Elwood: So often that you won't even notice it.
Maby more like a prequel
"The cable's out!"
"It's in the Bible, Next comes locusts."
