What did people think about the ending?

I thought it was stellar since it was so unexpected. I mean I would've enjoyed seeing a kickass fight between the two toughest guys in the city since most of the action scenes were well choreographed and shot but it was nice to be surprised. The other really cool scene that got me was when Statham stabbed the guy in the restaurant and shot up everyone. Some of the better action scenes I've seen in films recently.

I loved that a frightened little girl had the character and integrity to pick up a gun and protect the guy who had been protecting her. And I loved that she was smart enough to beat the entire Chinese tong.

(And one of my all time favorite actors is James Hong. I have a theory that he, Harvey Keitel, and Julianne Moore have been in every movie since 1975. Hong and Keitel since 1952.)
