How did they fit the all the money in 2 bags?
$30 million in two police dufflebags?
shareHe said that there are 5000 and 1000 dollar bills. Let's say that there are 50% of 5000$ bills and 50% of 1000$ bills. Let's presume that there is 100 stacks of cash. 50 stacks of 5000$ bills and 50 of 1000$ bills. One stack has 100 bills. So, 5000$ x 100 bills x 50 stacks = 25.000.000$, plus the other 50 stacks x 100 bills x 1000$ = 5.000.000$. Banks normally wrap bills in roughly half inch-high stacks of 100 bills each. I think that you can put that easily in two duflebags this size : 10"H x 9.5"D x 20"L. :)
shareNot a chance!
You actually SEE the amount of money when the safe is opened.......no way could all that be squeezed into 2 bags.
Remember the film Heat? Remember the trouble they had filling the bags.......and almost weighed them down?
I'd have accepted $10m..............but $30m wasn't going to fit
2 points:
1) If you saw Way of the Gun - they had $15M in 3 large duffels that weighed >100lb each (seemingly) in $100s - and according to that director, that was 100% legit. If this was all $1000 and $5000 bills, it would have been 1/10th to 1/50th the size of that haul.
2) I agree - the amount of cash we see in the safe does not appear to be able to fit into the bags UNLESS the safe is only 1 bill deep (a shallow shelf) - and thus, it's just one layer of bills deep, and not piles of cash like it appears.

There are actual higher bills of currency but they are only used for government transactions
Ribbons and detours meant nothing to me
