A 'true' story?

This movie is entertaining. But I find it hard to believe that it was factual history. Colin Clark having an affair with Marilyn Monroe, skinny dipping with her, getting so close to her personal life, Laurence Olivier being a totally grand old queen (okay, that one I can believe) leads me to think that the whole story is more Hollywood magic than reality.

Well, according to Alan Young ( mr Ed )in an interview on Sirius radio... he had a date with her when he was younger... so who knows.
