Attention to detail...

I loved how faithfully they recreated so many scenes with attention to detail (especially in black & white) of famous film, movie and photo-documented scenes: "Diamonds" number in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Seven Year Itch publicity/subway scene, actors studio with white overcoat (down to the people in the audience and the stripe midway up the wall), Miller engagement announcement, beach frolicking scene in long sweater, her deathbed scene with exact recreation of nightstand and paraphernalia around it, etc. The grayscale added beauty and realism to it. I was a bit surprised no glimpse of the Happy Birthday, Mr. President scene & dress or the fiasco with her final films "The Misfit" (Gable's last) and "Something's Got To Give" (Monroe's last).
