Why Do Driving Movies Front-Load The Movie With The Best Chase Scene?

I have yet to understand this, but literally every single movie about couriers and driving always put the best chase scenes at the start of the film.

I think the only movie about couriers that actually put the best chase scene at the end of the movie was Prime Rush, and that's how it should be.

It's weird that movies like this, Drive, Baby Driver, Transporter, even The Driver, all have their best chase sequences at the start of the film. The Driver at least gets it right that the next best chase in the film is the one that takes place at the very end, which has a really cool horror-movie vibe to it in the warehouse. Walter Hill really knows his way around a camera.

Oh, and I'll give props to Initial D and Motorway for also doing it right and having right proper sequences -- the best of the bunch -- at the end of the movie. Motorway in particular for highlighting the skill-set and techniques the protagonist learns throughout the rest of the movie, which he showcases during the final chase.

But here, the movie is about a courier doing special deliveries in cool cars, and the premise is cool (and obviously designed for a sequel), and the setup is cool, but it only has one actual chase scene at the very beginning, which is kind of dumb because every other action set piece pales in comparison later on the movie.

I see this a lot from a lot of movies where they theme themselves around cool driving sequences but then front-load the movie with the best driving scenes. I suppose the French Taxi series of films (which became increasingly stupid and terrible with each sequel) sort of focused most of their efforts on having entertaining chases at the end of the film(s), but they were still terrible movies (except for the first one). The final action set-piece in this film should have been reversed, with the BMW getting the spotlight to round out the rest of the movie's action.
