Question with spoilers

The alien was holding them for food. Whenever it was hungry, it snacked on them.

It was taking people for food. And I would guess that not all of them died.

The alien was catching and saving them to eat. The ones he didn't eat should still be alive. He should have ate more of the bad people, but I guess he didn't care. Did no-one else want to free him, if so he would have know and could have worked with them, besides the Scientist.


I have a question or 2 as well...

So the Alien was in control by the feds or whoever, until the guy (scientist) freed him by wrecking the train, right?
Was he just eating meat, like animals at a zoo? And where were they keeping him? - So he built that huge area under the water tower just after he escaped?

Well, truth be told all of the humans would be dead. The human body generally can't stand being upside down like that for very long. Young people it's easier on, the elderly would be dead.
