Never on TV

Anyone know why this film has never ended up on cable or television? It's been 2 years since its release. I own it sdo I can watch it whenever but I notice its never made the TV rounds.

I own Super 8 as well and think it's an amazing film. The reason it hasn't been on TV is because Super 8 is clearly far too good to share with the average viewing public. Want proof? Lawrence of Arabia is never on TV either.

"And I guess that was your accomplice in the woodchipper?"

You may not have the channel that shows it. TCM showed LOA recently in tribute to Peter O'Toole's recent death. It's also shown a couple of times when they do their many marathons of his films through out the year.

Its that man again!!

reply

It's been on Netflix all the time. I watch it sometimes it's still good.

reply

Which is probably why you never see these movies on TV they are either on Netflix or Epix.

reply

Comcast has it in on demand for 2.99 Std def. They don't have it in HD. It would be nice if they put it on a channel like HBO or Showtime.

reply

Starting this year it'll be playing on FX I believe.

reply

It was on FXX last night.
