It has entertaining parts here and there.

I like some of the character traits and behaviors. Finding Rafael and Natalie fooling around without a clue of what's happening was a chuckle. Atun was sympathetic. Clara taking the chainsaw against the three zombies was out of character but filmed well.

But even without considering the original, this falls into some odd choices. Are they zombies or possessed bodies? One moment they think and the next moment they'll mindless. Why do they always wait to be noticed?

Things like that are distracting. The ending was an abrupt turn of events. I've seen this twice. It's good compared to a lot of zombie flicks, but that's a low bar. I'd say it's on par with severed. Not good by any means but a cut above stripperland.
