I watched it. It was bad

It was like a cheap B-action movie but with big budget and actors.

1. Everything was too dark. What happened to those 90-th action movies that were bright and colorful? Why are modern day directors so obsessed with putting dark filters? Its makes film depressing. You simply dont want to rewatch those dark movies. While you can rewatch Face/Off, The Rock and others every time they are on tv. They are just fun.

2. Script was non-existent. It was just jumping between action scenes. It was 2 hours movie and they dint bother with characters and motivations at all.

3. "Villains" were laughably bad. Remember how villains were old grey haired men in suits or 40 years old dudes that did action with main character? They were old enough to gain that powerful position at goverment job. Because it takes time to get that high up to command other people.

Now our main "Brain Villains' were guy from Bridgerton and some very young chick who looked like she is old enough only to be intern and give coffee. Yet we we told that they are ruling some big government led Spy agency or whatever. And like high ups. It looked ridiculous.

Regé-Jean Page was 33 during filming. Jessica Henwick was 28. They even put glasses on Bridgerton guy to make him look smarter and wiser.

4. Chris Evans was overacting so much that he looked ridiculous. He was a cartoon. He was basically "Soldier" who had to take orders like Ryan Gosling. But for some reason he was going to meetings and was ordering everyone around. Including his direct bosses. With the attitude that he will kill them any moment if he will not like what they said.

5. Ana de Armas was playing Ana de Armas. Meaning very forgettable non character. Hollywood tries to make her some action star. She looks as believable as Kristen Stewart in Charlies Angels. She has very forgettable mundane face. Thats why she will never be a star. Hollywood will try to push her like they did with Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner, Eva Mendes but eventually will see that she doesnt bring viewers on her fame. She is just there. No one will ever go the to see a movie with Ana de Armas in lead role and no other stars to support her. She is just "Supporting girl of the moment" like Eva Mendes was before her.

6. Ryan Gosling played Ryan Gosling once again.

7. I didnt understand why Ryan Gosling decided to go Rogue and run for his life just because he met some other agent that gave him flash drive and told his bosses are bad. It was such ridiculous macgiffin moment. Ryan Gosling character looks like he doesnt give a crap about anything in the world. He just floats and does whatever told. He is not some idealist that is searching for truth.

Same with Ana de Armas character. Who was she again and why she decided to end her own career and help rogue fugitive? It didnt look like she was in love with him. She looked like she cared about her career. But then decided to thrown it out and fight her own agency and kill her own people....

8. Action scene in Prague made no sense at all. They killed so many people and so much damage. There would be a big investigation that would lead to that agency. We never see such big shoot-outs on our streets because no one is stupid enough to do them.

100% agree.

They could have used a screen recorder or even just their phone cameras to record what was on 'the drive'.
