Chris Evans looks like he's having fun. The action looks solid. Can't help but wonder if there's a problem behind the scenes that made this a Netflix release instead of theatrical.

And how it cost a reported 200m?

reply

Gareth Evans could probably do the same thing for $30 million.

reply

Many filmmakers at that. I dont see anywhere in the ballpark of a 200 million dollar production by that trailer. We are talking the budget of a major superhero film, a current Tom Cruise MI film, a major Disney animation film…. Etcetera! 😊

reply

Trailer looks hella cheap. It has no polish like No Time to Die or Top Gun.

reply

I heard they pay the actors up front , no % points etc but even that dosnt explain 200m

reply

Someone's probably laundering drug money.

reply

Meh. Looks like a pretty generic over the top action movie. But I like the actors so I'll watch it.

reply

Will be nice to see CE in another role. It's been awhile.

THE GRAY MAN is CIA operative Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), aka, Sierra Six. Plucked from a federal penitentiary and recruited by his handler, Donald Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton), Gentry was once a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death. But now the tables have turned and Six is the target, hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), a former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out. Agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) has his back. He’ll need it.
